“I was standing on a roof top observation deck. The camera was hand held. The only processing was a noise reduction filter for large image reproduction. The ISO was 400. Fstop 5.6 The exposure time was just over 1 sec. Sometimes it all just clicks.”

It is a real honor to be the first image of the month here at digapixblog. It has been a learning experience, one which I expect will continue with future submissions.
I’m really glad you started this site. It has helped me be a better photographer.
I look forward to all the things I’ll learn this month.

My criteria for an art photograph is “would I hang it on MY wall”. This is one of those. I could see this printed 16 x 20 and properly museum matted.

I can see, like you said, everything just clicked and it came out PERFECTLY.
